Dear Sir,

I expect that you are well acquainted with European history. May I remind you of the remark reportedly made by Winston Churchill on Chamberlain´s return to Britain in 1940?

"You were given the choice between dishonour and war. You chose dishonour and you shall have war."

This would seem a good point to contemplate for anyone on Mr. Putin´s payroll today. Ukrainian civilians do not have a choice. You do.
